Psychoanalytic psychotherapist
Charles is a UKCP Fellow and sits on the committee of the UKCP Belonging Intersectionality, Inclusion, Diversity and Equity Committee (BIIDE). He is the current Chair of the Race and Culture Committee at the College of Psychoanalytic and Jungian Analysts and a member of the Executive Committee. He is a former Chair of the CPJA Ethics Committee.
He is an Honorary Fellow and Chair of The British Association for Psychodynamic and Psychoanalytic Supervisors (BAPPS) and an Associate member of The Arbours Association and AGIP (The Association for Group and Individual Psychotherapy), where he sits on the training committee. He has written on identity and meaning, addiction and on supervision practice. He is in independent practice in south London.
